Senior Pastor

Rev. Greg Robinson

Join us as we welcome our new Senior Pastor and his family to FBC, Farmington. Pastor Greg plans to be in the pulpit Oct. 7.

Greg attended Midwestern State University where he earned a Bachelor of Music (vocal performance) and then went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and received his Master of Divinity. Greg has been the guest speaker at multiple events, conferences, and revivals both in the United States and internationally. He and his wife, Penny, have two boys, Peyton and Parker. When not spending time with his family, Greg enjoys playing golf, web and graphic design, and serving as a Tae Kwon Do instructor at a local martial arts academy. Associate Pastor for Students and Activities

Rev. Jason Welker

Jason began his ministry as Minister of Students and Activities at First Baptist Church in 2009. Jason has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Media and Theatre from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri (2005). He also earned a Master of Divinity degree with a Student Ministry concentration from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas (2009).

Jason and Amy married in August 2005. They both have a passion to work with students of all ages, and have a passion to help them grow in their own faiths while sharing their faith with others. Jason and Amy have been blessed with 3 daughters, Vivi, Sophie, and Gracie, and are very excited to be serving the Lord in Farmington.   




Administrator/Education Division

Mr. Gordon Epps

Gordon began serving as Associate Pastor for discipleship and Administration in August 2015. Gordon received a Master's degree in Public Administration from SIU-Carbondale, Illinois in 1988 and retired as an administrator from the Missouri Department of Mental Health following 29 years of service.

Gordon is involved in a variety of ministries at First Baptist including:  a teacher for children, youth and adults; adult choir and drama; deacon family ministry and local service projects.

Gordon and his wife Kathy were involved in lay renewal ministry while members of FBC, Nevada. They have been members of First Baptist Farmington since 1991 and have two grown children, Logan and Caitlin.

Administrative Assistant to the Pastor

Mrs. Karen Moore

Mrs. Karen Moore is the pastor’s administrative assistant at First Baptist Church. Karen began as the church secretary/church clerk in April 1994 and promoted to pastor’s secretary in 1999.


Karen and David married in 1984. They have three children: Anna-Katherine and husband Eric Miller, Shalimar and husband Deacon Lambert, Victoria a senior at William Woods University and four beautiful grandchildren, Malachi, Rajydin, Peyton and Auxrora.


Karen began her walk with Christ in 1976 and continues that ministry through her work in the church and in the community. For more than twenty years she has been the GA director, working with first through sixth grade girls, teaching, learning and doing missions and helping lead a state mission task force for a girls’ retreat. Karen helps with a new ministry on Sunday mornings in the "Made From Scratch" Cafe.

Adminsitrative Assistant

Mrs. Gay Wampler

Gay began serving as church clerk and administrative assistant to the church, January 4, 2016. Prior to working at the church she taught social studies for twenty-two years at Central High School, retiring in 2008. At that time she and her husband, Ray, served as worship leaders in serveral churches until his death.

Gay has one daughter, Cathy (Josh) Hemmendinger, one son, Sam Cook, two step-sons, Tracy Wampler and Chris Wampler and five grandsons, Wade Hemmendinger, Lucas Hemmendinger, Brett Wampler, Sawyer Wampler, and Ely Wampler.

Gay has been a Christian since her youth and has been a church pianist since the age of 13. She has taught Sunday school classes of all ages and continues to serve in the music minstry of the church.

She loves to read, spend time with her children and granchldren, and enjoys traveling.
