MARK

Mark joined the staff of First Baptist Church in October of 2019 as Children’s Minister.  He received a bachelor’s degree in education from Central Methodist University and a Specialist’s Degree in Educational Administration from Southeast Missouri State University.  Mark has spent 25 years in education from elementary and middle school teachers to elementary and middle school principals. He has worked for many years in all aspects of the church setting having been a preacher’s kid. 

Mark is excited to fulfill his passion of working with kids in the church setting and showing them God’s love.   He and his wife Deanna have one son, Griffin.  In his spare time, he enjoys singing and music, traveling, spending time with his family and following his son around to all his music and sports activities.
