Greg Robinson

Senior Pastor

Greg attended Midwestern State University where he earned a Bachelor of Music (vocal performance) and then went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and received his Master of Divinity. Greg has been the guest speaker at multiple events, conferences, and revivals both in the United States and internationally. He and his wife, Penny, have two boys, Peyton and Parker. When not spending time with his family, Greg enjoys playing golf, web and graphic design, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

Jason Welker

Associate Pastor for Students and Activities

Jason began his ministry as Minister of Students and Activities at First Baptist Church in 2009. Jason has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Media and Theatre from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri (2005). He also earned a Master of Divinity degree with a Student Ministry concentration from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas (2009).

Jason and Amy married in August 2005. They both have a passion to work with students of all ages, and have a passion to help them grow in their own faiths while sharing their faith with others. Jason and Amy have been blessed with 3 daughters, Vivi, Sophie, and Gracie, and are very excited to be serving the Lord in Farmington.

Gordon Epps

Minister of Administration & Education

Gordon began serving as Associate Pastor for discipleship and Administration in August 2015. Gordon received a Master's degree in Public Administration from SIU-Carbondale, Illinois in 1988 and retired as an administrator from the Missouri Department of Mental Health following 29 years of service.

Gordon is involved in a variety of ministries at First Baptist including:  a teacher for children, youth and adults; adult choir and drama; deacon family ministry and local service projects.

Gordon and his wife Kathy were involved in lay renewal ministry while members of FBC, Nevada. They have been members of First Baptist Farmington since 1991 and have two grown children, Logan and Caitlin.

Kevin White

Interim Worship Leader

Dr. Kevin White is a native of Desloge, Missouri where he graduated from North County High School. He holds music degrees from Murray State University (BME - Music Education), Loyola University of New Orleans (MM - Trumpet Performance) and the University of South Carolina (DMA - Music Composition).

Kevin has played trumpet professionally for the Temptations, the O-Jays, the Four Tops, Captain and Tennille, the Box Tops, the New Orleans Saints House Band, the Guy Lombardo Orchestra and the Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus.

At present he is a professor of music at Mineral Area College and has been the Department Chair since 2003.

 Dr. White co-created the Baby Boomer Reunion Concert series that appears annually every August in Farmington. He has written and directed all 16 yearly installments of these performances.

 Kevin and his wife, Rheannon have two daughters; Emma and Audrey, and make their home in Bonne Terre.

Karen Moore

Administrative Assistant to the Pastor

Mrs. Karen Moore is the pastor’s administrative assistant at First Baptist Church. Karen began as the church secretary/church clerk in April 1994 and promoted to pastor’s secretary in 1999. In 2014 she celebrated her twentieth year on the church staff.

Karen and David married in 1984. They have three children: Anna-Katherine and husband Eric Miller, Shalimar and husband Deacon Lambert, Victoria a junior at William Woods University and four beautiful grandchildren, Malachi, Rajydin, Peyton and Auxrora. 

Karen began her walk with Christ in 1976 and continues that ministry through her work in the church and in the community. For more than twenty years she has been the GA director, working with first through sixth grade girls, teaching, learning and doing missions and helping lead a state mission task force for a girls’ retreat. Karen helps with a new ministry on Sunday mornings in the "Made From Scratch" Cafe.

Sarah Fletcher

Administrative Assistant

Sarah began serving as administrative assistant in June 2019. Growing up in First Baptist Farmington, she spent years volunteering with various nonprofit organizations and service projects, which ultimately gave her a passion and heart for serving others.

Sarah earned a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational and Strategic Communication from Southwest Baptist University. She entered into the nonprofit sector working for organizations involved in: food pantries/soup kitchens, homeless assistance, disaster relief, military/veteran’s affairs, and children’s outreach. 

Sarah and her husband, William, enjoy all things outdoors, playing with their dog, and spending time with both of their families.
