What to Expect

As someone new to First Baptist we want you to be at ease as you become more involved in our community of faith.  For many people the first step would be attending one of our worship services.  For others it may be allowing your child to be a part of our Wednesday evening children’s activities, or volunteering in one of our local ministry projects.  However you choose to be involved, we want you to have a positive experience as you connect with our church family.

Sunday:

Wednesday:

Youth Ministry:

Our youth ministry Ignite! meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 P.M. in our Student Center providing an exciting blend of Christian music, videos, games and worship for teenagers grades 7-12.  Ignite also has a regular Monday evening Bible study called “Fuel” that meets at 7:00 P.M. The boys meet in the Student Center and the girls meet at 362 Moss Lane.

Other Studies and Events:

First Baptist also schedules other special Bible studies, ministries and events throughout the week.  You can get more information from the home page of the church website.

We have guest parking available near our Sanctuary entrance off of “A” St. with several handicapped accessible spaces.   Our new parking area has several spaces next to our Welcome Center by the large canopy entrance for handicap as well.  There is parking available on the east (Franklin St.) side of our buildings and street side parking on College, “A” Street and Franklin Streets.
